Two expectant mothers nursing injuries after surviving motor accident in Kagadi town

Two expectant mothers are nursing wounds at Kagadi general hospital in Kagadi town, Kagadi district after involving in a motor accident.

The accident occurred today morning at around 8:30am opposite Kagadi general hospital along Hoima-Fortpotal road in Kagadi town.

Unidentified Boda Boda cyclist who was carrying one expectant mother identified as Mrs. Birungi Florence 39 a resident of Kyomunembe in Kagadi town council on a Bajaji Reg No. UEW 125T heading to Kagadi general hospital premises knocked Mrs. Magrete Ategeka 22, a resident of Kyomukama in Kagadi town council as she was trying to cross the road also heading to the hospital.

Mrs. Birungi the victim says she was going for antenatal care at Kagadi general hospital whereas the boda boda rider disappeared immediately.

Meanwhile eye witnesses have attributed the accident to over speeding and reckless driving.
