SAD! Archbishop Ntagali’s Son dies

NEWS– Former Archbishop of the Church of Uganda Stanley Ntagali has lost his son.

The deceased is Charlese Birungi Ntagali 31, one of the five children of the Archbishop Emeritus.

He was the last born of four sons and one daughter of Stanley and Beatrice Ntagali.

Birungi reportedly passed away last night while being rushed to hospital according to one of his friends.

“Sad to hear about the untimely death of my friend, OB, and village mate; Charles Birungi Ntagali, son to retired Archbishop Ntagali, who collapsed at midnight on his way to hospital,” said Robert Tumusiime, a friend of the deceased.

RIFT VALLEY FEVER KILLS ONE IN KAGADI KAGADI:  One person has died of rift valley fever in Kagadi district. Lillian Ruteraho the resident district commissioner Kagadi has identified the deceased as Justus Mugisa 34, a resident of Kibuku village in Ntoroko district. Speaking at the emergency meeting held today {Thursday} at Kagadi district headquarters, Ruteraho disclosed that the deceased has been a cattle keeper in Mabaale Sub County in Kagadi district. She has asked residents to be vigilant and calls for maximum cooperation in order to curb the outbreak. ‘’We should be vigilant and cooperate to curb the outbreak,’’ Rutereho asked.   Average turn up of learners registered as schools reopen 10th Jan,2022 Kagadi There was average turn up of students in the schools across Kagadi district today 10 th January, 2022 School’s reopening after schools were closed in June 2021 to contain the spread of covid-19. In all the schools visited by KBS radio this afternoon, the average turn up of students was ranging from 30% to 65% and the standard operating procedures(SOPs) were being implemented.
