Suspected thief survives lynch in Kagadi, rescued by Police

Kagadi Police was this afternoon compelled to fire live ammunitions in the air in an attempt to rescue a suspected hen thief from angry mob who wanted to lynch him.

The incident transpired today afternroon in Ikuuma Cell Kagadi town council in Kagadi district.

Kaceri TV Ug reporters have learnt that a 20 year old Balinde Aganyira a resident of Busoiga Cell in Nyanseke ward Muhorro council was caught with stolen hens in Ikuuma cell Kagadi town council, a thing that pieced off locals and boda-boda riders along Kagadi fort portal high way hence forth resorting to killing him.

However, as they were beating him, the suspect who was seen by our reporters physically necked managed to escape out of their hands and ran into the nearby bush but was later rescued by police as locals were searching for him.

Also in an exclusive interview with KACTVUG shortly after police whisking him away the suspect amidst tight security, angry locals were dissatisfied with police for flopping their mission against the suspect.

Kenneth Bakashaba the OC station Kagadi CPS confirmed the incident as he acknowledged that his men were forced to fire in the ambitions in the air so as to disperse angry residents.
