MP Tinkasiimire Promises better education, modern agriculture as he swears-in for fourth term

 

Kampala

The Buyaga West Member of Parliament Hon.Tinkasimire Barnabas has vowed to promote better education and modern agriculture that would promote communal services in his constituency and Kagadi District at large.

Speaking shortly after being sworn in today afternoon for his fourth term, Tinkasimire expressed the need for the people of Buyaga West to hold close farming and educate their children to ease the development of the area.

Tinkasimire also told our reporters that the extension of other projects like health facilities, Electricity, roads and others services will continue for the benefit of the people.

He further says that he is ready to work closely with the electorates in order to increase per capital income as a way of combating poverty in the constituency thus calling upon everyone to draw closer for a common objectives

On speakership race, the legislature says he will not be misled by individuals thus adding that he will vote for Rebecca Kadaga as Speaker for the 11th Parliament.

RIFT VALLEY FEVER KILLS ONE IN KAGADI KAGADI:  One person has died of rift valley fever in Kagadi district. Lillian Ruteraho the resident district commissioner Kagadi has identified the deceased as Justus Mugisa 34, a resident of Kibuku village in Ntoroko district. Speaking at the emergency meeting held today {Thursday} at Kagadi district headquarters, Ruteraho disclosed that the deceased has been a cattle keeper in Mabaale Sub County in Kagadi district. She has asked residents to be vigilant and calls for maximum cooperation in order to curb the outbreak. ‘’We should be vigilant and cooperate to curb the outbreak,’’ Rutereho asked.
