Ruling party NRM-leaning events and marketing manager Balaam Barugahara has appealed to opposition NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine to stop disrespecting first son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

On January 06, Bobi Wine claimed that Lt Gen Kainerugaba, the commander of UPDF Land Forces and senior presidential advisor on special operations, was a ‘drunkard’ who President Yoweri Museveni planned to impose on Ugandans through constitutional amendments.

Bobi Wine also predicted that Lt Gen Kainerugaba would not even get 5% of the total votes cast in a presidential election. (Read report here ).
Following the NUP leader’s statement, Balaam, a known support of Kainerugaba’s presidential bid, told Bobi Wine to stop insulting the first son.

“Hon Bobi Wine, with respect, you shouldn’t call our l eader a drunkard. We believe and support him 100%,” said Balaam.

“Bad language should be avoided it. It promotes ekiniga (anger) towards one another. We are millions of supporters. We shall stick to respectful communication. In Muhoozi Kainerugaba we trust
