RIFT VALLEY FEVER KILLS ONE IN KAGADI KAGADI:  One person has died of rift valley fever in Kagadi district. Lillian Ruteraho the resident district commissioner Kagadi has identified the deceased as Justus Mugisa 34, a resident of Kibuku village in Ntoroko district. Speaking at the emergency meeting held today {Thursday} at Kagadi district headquarters, Ruteraho disclosed that the deceased has been a cattle keeper in Mabaale Sub County in Kagadi district. She has asked residents to be vigilant and calls for maximum cooperation in order to curb the outbreak. ‘’We should be vigilant and cooperate to curb the outbreak,’’ Rutereho asked. SAD: Man dies in bush having sex with married woman By   Our Reporter January 13, 2022 11:25 NEWS- Residents of Makina village in Masaba sub-county Busia district woke up in shock after a man identified as Steven Ouma Atiki died while having sex with a married woman in bush. According to the sources, Ouma died yesterday Wednesday in ambush at Diraho village in Buyuha trading center in Masaba sub-county near the telecom Mast where he was having sex with a married woman and resident of Bunyadeti village in Buhehe sub-county. The deceased’s brother, Patrick Bwire, says that he received a phone call from his friends informing him about his brother’s demise.  Bwire narrates that he rushed to the scene only to find the woman standing next to the half-naked and lifeless body of his sibling. 4, Jan 2022 Residents of Katikara Sub County in Kakumiro district have been engulfed with shock and grief after a 27year old man committed suicide by hanging. The deceased has been identified as Robert Asaba, a resident of Kasambya LCI in Katikara Sub County. The deceased’s body was found hanging in a mango tree at parents’ home yesterday morning at around 10am. In an interview with our reporter, the mother to the deceased who preferred anonymity narrated that her son had demonic spirits and severally he has been threatening to cut short his life. In 2008, the Rwandan strongman promised to build a railway linking the existing Tanzanian line at Isaka and onto the seaport of Dar Es Salaam. The railroad was to arrive in Rwanda by 2012 cutting the Kigali-Dar Es Salaam journey that currently takes a week for commercial vehicles to 24 hours. This did not materialize. In 2013, Kagame joined the “coalition of the willing” comprised of himself, Uganda’s Yoweri Museveni, and Kenya’s Uhuru Kenyatta to build a railway from Kigali to Kampala and onto Mombasa.
