Kagadi District records two new COVID-19 case, Kibaale one

Kagadi

Kagadi district has confirmed two new covod-12 cases.

In a short interview on phone with Kagadi Hospital medical Superintendent Dr. Gregory Kaijamurubi told KBS radio that all the two patients are health workers t Kagadi general Hospital.

He said the confirmed cases were identified last evening and today in the samples that were tested last week.

Patients who identities have not been disclosed are in isolation receiving treatment.


The district health officer Kagadi Dr. James Oluwo appealed to the general public to take the SOPs serious since the second wave of COVID-19 that has hit the country is graver than the first wave.


Meanwhile Kibaale District Health department has also confirmed one new COVID 19 case as the country continues to grapple with the virus surge.

 

Godfrey Timbihurira, the District Health Officer for Kibaale district in an interview with Kaceri tv ug reporter today confirmed that the current case was registered yesterday and is currently under isolation for advanced medication.

Dr Timbihurira has called for community vigilance regarding the COVID-19 signs and as well observe Standard Operating Procedures in order to curb down the spread of the virus.
