The bill provides for windfall tax and limitations of deductions on petroleum operations. Muhammad Ssegirinya fainted today after her son was denied bail for the second time by the high court. At Buganda Road Court today. Hon Ssegirinya wrote to express his dissatisfaction with his continued detention in Mulago hospital without being brought before a judge. Ssegirinya has also been denied admission to any of his preferred medical facilities. They asked the court to order Ugandan prisons to transport Hon Ssegirinya to court immediately before proceeding, according to lawyer Shamim Malende. Instead, the court has ordered Ugandan prisons to bring him before the court on December 2, 2021, to file a bail application. UNEB statistics indicated that the number of candidates overall decreased by 4,324 (-1.3%) from 337,720 in 2019 to 333,396. Of these, 148,128 (44.4%) were USE beneficiaries. The number of male candidates registered is 166,744 (50.01%) and that of females is 166,652 (49.99%). The difference is only 92 more males than females.
